WIN Home Inspection franchise rose 216 positions on Entrepreneur magazine’s latest Franchise 500 list

WIN Home Inspection is a low-investment franchise that soared up Entrepreneur’s rankings of top franchise opportunities.

WIN Home Inspection skyrocketed up the rankings in Entrepreneur Magazine’s latest Franchise 500 list. The annual list serves as a guide of top franchise opportunities for entrepreneurs.

We rank No. 208 on this year’s list, up 216 places from a year ago. It is our fourth consecutive year on the list.

“We have had double-digit revenue growth, and as the economy recovers and the housing market improves, demand for inspections continues to drive more business to our franchise owners,” WIN president Steve Wadlington said. “A lot of our competition fell away during the recession, and professional home inspectors were able to gain market share. As the market rebounds, we’re positioned to grow bigger and stronger.”

WIN is a low-cost franchise, with startup costs as low as $32,900, and Strategic-Partners can start the business with liquid capital of just $20,000 and net worth as low as $30,000. The business model is flexible enough to be run successfully as a sole proprietorship or as a multi-territory operation with an owner managing a group of inspectors.

Demand for home inspections is huge. According to the National Association of Realtors, 77% of home buyers pay for a home inspection, and 99% of real estate agents recommend inspections. The percentage of buyers who buy inspections is typically even higher in urban areas.

A top franchise for veterans

In addition to being named a top low-cost franchise by Entrepreneur magazine, WIN Home Inspection has been named a top military franchise by both G.I. Jobs magazine and Entrepreneur.

About 25% of the franchise system consists of veterans, and veterans and their spouses are offered discounted franchise fees as a thank-you for their service.
