WIN Home Inspection Posts a 32% Increase in Overall Revenue Since 2010

Average revenue for a WIN Home Inspection franchise also continues to increase as demand rises for home inspection services

The WIN Home Inspection franchise reports a 32% increase in overall revenue from 2010 to 2014, according to our new FDD. That number reflects the dramatic and continuing rise in the demand for home inspection franchise services.

“Home inspection is one of the fastest-growing segments of the real estate franchise industry,” says WIN Chairman Thomas Knapp. “The National Association of Realtors says 99% of its members recommend an inspection, and 77% of all home buyers hire inspectors before making their purchases. As home sales increase, so does the number of inspections.”

77% of home buyers have a home inspection

WIN Home Inspection is one of the fastest-growing home inspection franchises in the country, and it is ranked as a top franchise opportunity by Entrepreneur magazine, Franchise Business Review, and G.I. Jobs. WIN stands apart from competitors by offering a consistent, professional home inspection service that home buyers appreciate and real estate agents respect. Training, technology, and marketing support help franchise owners develop loyal relationships in the real estate industry that lead to a steady stream of customer referrals.

A WIN Home Inspection franchise meets the demand

Recent news continues to indicate the strength of demand for home inspectors. An estimated 5.26 million homes were sold in 2014, not counting new homes sold by builders, according to data from the NAR. That adds up to more than 4 million home inspections, and there is no sign of a slowdown. Home sales are expected to continue at a fast pace, thanks in part to a stronger economy, says Lawrence Yun, chief economist for the NAR.

“Buyers continue to be encouraged by interest rates at lows not seen since last summer, improving levels of inventory, and stabilizing price growth,” he says.

Interest rates have decreased since hitting 4.5% in 2013, according to Zillow.com. As of May 2015 the average has dipped to 3.75%. This increases the demand for new homes and, in turn, home inspectors.

“There are many reasons why Realtors and homebuyers choose a WIN Home Inspection franchise for their inspection needs,” Thomas says. “Chief among them are our sophisticated software and professionalism. Our advanced software technology quickly provides a report for Realtors and homebuyers. Secondly, our professionalism — the way we dress and the courtesy we show to our clients — stands above our competitors. That’s why franchisees continue to see growth year after year.”
