Exam preparation courses are recommended to improve success on the first attempt.

Note: Veterans can get reimbursed for the exam through the GI Bill by submitting the VBA-22-0803-ARE form and their receipt to the VA.

Obtain Liability Insurance

You must carry general liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $100,000. This insurance protects against claims related to negligence, errors, misrepresentation, and more. Provide your policy number and coverage details with your application.

Submit Your Application and Pay the Fee

Pay the annual registration fee and submit a notarized application to the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. The fee is $250 for applications received between January 1st and June 31st.
